Tensor All-Season Camping Mat

Whether you’re bivvying out in sub-zero temperatures or setting up camp in the snow, the Tensor All-Season is a lightweight insulated air mat that doesn’t skimp on sleep quality. At a luxurious 9cm thick, the unique Spaceframe baffles are designed for stability and even weight distribution. Upgraded insulation features two layers of floating metallized film, giving the Tensor All-Season a seriously warm R-rating of 5.4. But unlike most other insulated mats, it’s significantly quieter too, without that crisp-packet crinkle that makes it tough to drift off. They've recently switched in more durable shell materials and improved the valve to make it even easier to operate in cold conditions – plus it comes with a Vortex pump sack that reduces the amount of moisture that gets inside the pad. The idea of NEMO was born one turbulent night on the side of Mount Washington while Cam Brensinger spent a sleepless five hours in a poorly designed bivy. That night he realised how much opportunity there was for thoughtful design as part of the equation of enjoying adventure. And, coming down off the mountain the next day, he resolved to tackle that challenge. Three days after graduation from Rhode Island School of Design, he founded NEMO Equipment.
